Seefeld
Fitness/Aerobics
The Gesundheitswelt ("Health-World") at the WM-Halle near the Gschwandtkopf
is a gym and fitness centre which is open to the public. Classes in various aerobic
techniques are offered in the evenings. The fitness centre at the Alpenpark Sonnenresidenz
is also open to guests outside the hotel.
Riding
The riding stables are located on the road out towards Leutasch. There is a
riding paddock where lessons can be taken and supervised rides out in the
countryside can also be organised.
Swimming
Public swimming facilities are available at the Olympia sports centre, just
outside the pedestrian area of the village in the direction of the Seekirchl.
It offers a heated indoor and outdoor pool with a water slide and it is possible
to buy a combination swimming and sauna ticket.
There is also a heated outdoor pool at the Wildsee with changing cabins available. A number of the larger hotels also offer entrance to their swimming and sauna facilities to outside guests.
Leutasch
Adventure Sports
Tirol Alpin offers a range of activities, such as climbing and canyoning,
for adults and children from their offices in Leutasch.
Archery
An archery range is available near the
entrance to the Gaistal.
Fishing
Fishing is possible in the Weidach lake
near the Leutasch sports centre in the village of Leutasch-Weidach.
Fishing tackle can be hired - the limit on a daycard is 2 kilos
of fish. It is also possible to get a permit to fish in the Leutascher
Ache stream on request.
Riding
Horseriding is available from the riding
stables in the hamlet of Platzl.
Summer Tobogganing
The summer toboggan run at the Kreith
lift in Weidach is one of the most popular local excursions and
operates daily in the summer months.
Swimming
The Alpenbad in Weidach has an indoor
pool and sauna area. Entrance tickets are available for just the
swimming pool, or for the pool and sauna combined. Please
note that the Alpenbad will be closed
for the entire summer 2007. Many hotels, pensions,
guesthouses or apartments who were previously offering free entrance
as a feature have now made arrangements with other houses with
pools or with the public pool in Mittenwald in Germany. Please
check with your accommodation or travel provider for more details.
Mösern
Swimming
Outdoor swimming is available at the Möserersee
above the village, and the indoor pool at the Inntalerhof is open
for non-residents.
Reith
Adventure Sports
Canyoning and other active sports are offered by the Sport Aktiv
ski school in the summer months.
Scharnitz
Archery
An archery range is available in the hamlet of Giessenbach on the road to Seefeld.
