Children's Activities

The lakes and mountains of the Seefeld plateau are a fantastic playground for children. Many families return year after year, attracted by the many different outdoor and indoor possibilities for their children to enjoy themselves.

Please do remember, however, that Seefeld is in the mountains. Children tire more easily in the fresh air here - so don't plan a walking day out which will be too strenuous at the beginning of their holiday. Be very careful of the sun - Seefeld is at a higher altitude than many visitors will be used to and that means that the rays are stronger, even on cloudy days. Be sure that your child is using sunglasses and sufficient suncream and you will be able to enjoy the summer sunshine to the full.

The tourist offices in the different villages on the plateau offer a special children's programme from the end of June to the end of September.
